Pay People FastQ. What is Pay People Fast with ZashPay?
A. Pay People Fast allows you to send money to anyone, using only their name and e-mail address or mobile number. The money is sent directly from your payment account to their account.
Q. What are the advantages of using Pay People Fast to send money?
A. It’s ideal for sending money to friends, family members, or anyone you know. All you need is their email address, or mobile number. It’s fast – money is usually received in one business day.
Q. How much does Pay People Fast cost?
A. The service is free, but you are charged $.50 each time you send money. There are no fees for receiving money.
Q. Who can I pay with Pay People Fast?
A. You can pay anyone with a bank account. The recipient will receive a text message or email with instructions on how to claim their money. They will need to register with ZashPay the first time they use the service. Pay People Fast is not recommended for member to member transfers since MSCOnline has this feature free of charge from the Make a Transfer page.
Q. How do I send money with Pay People Fast?
A. Log onto MSC Online and open BillPayer. Click on the Pay People button at the top of the page. Simply enter their email address or mobile number, and the amount you want to send. Or if you've sent money previously, just select the person’s name from your send list and enter an amount.
Q. How does the person receive money?
A. If the person you're sending money to is not registered with ZashPay, they will receive an email invitation to use the service and to claim the money. Their financial institution does not have to offer ZashPay to receive and deposit money into their account.
Q. How long does the payment take?
A. Payments take one business day once the recipient is registered with the ZashPay network. The initial payment can take up to four business days after enrollment.
Q. How do I know they claimed the money sent?
A. You can track recent and pending transactions through your history. Click History to track money you've sent or received. You can also see any pending transactions.
Q. How secure is Pay People Fast with ZashPay?
A. ZashPay uses multiple layers of security to protect your information. Unique user name and passwords. As long as you don't share your user name and password with anyone, no one can sign in to ZashPay as you. SSL (secure sockets layer) ensures that your connection and information are secure from outside inspection. 128-bit encryption makes your information unreadable as it passes over the Internet.
Q. Why does it say my email address or phone number is already in use?
A. If you are an MSC Online user, you have been auto-enrolled in the Pay People Fast with ZashPay service. This means that your email address and/or phone number may already be associated with your profile. You can only use one email address and phone number per ZashPay profile. This is how ZashPay identifies what account to deposit/debit your payments from/to.
