A message from President/CEO
Robert M. Boland
AltaOne has a very proud heritage, celebrating over 60 years as a safe and sound federal credit union. Today, AltaOne is over $500 million in assets strong with more than 46,000 members. You, the member, make AltaOne what it is. As a financial cooperative, AltaOne is entirely member-owned and returns earnings back to the membership in the form of competitive loan rates and deposit-shares dividends, low service fees, and continuously improving member-centric services.
This is a challenging time for AltaOne as your credit union adapts to a prolonged recessionary economy while it works diligently to maintain member service centers in neighborhood communities, provide convenient and efficient services, and state-of-the-art ATMs to better serve you, our member-owners. Your credit union is striving also to build required capital, eroded by the weak national, state and local economies, to further ensure a continued financially healthy organization for our members today and tomorrow.
Leading your credit union are the Board of Directors, other Volunteers, and the Senior Management Staff. I report directly to the entire Board of Directors, comprised of members like you, who volunteer much time and talents to ensure AltaOne is the best federal credit union it can be for its member-owners. These Board Members consistently represent the best interests of the entire membership and do not receive any monetary compensation for their services in a governance role. Your current Board of Directors are: Dixie Chantler, Chair; Bret Jacobson, Vice Chair; Gene Parks, Treasurer; Teri Morrow, Secretary; Richard Cracraft, Member; Dr. Karen Higgins, Member; David Ostash, Member.
The Senior Management reports directly to me and takes superb care of the various daily operations to maintain premier service to you. My current senior leadership team consists of George M. ("Bud") Haslam, Vice President Finance/Facilities; Kelly Curtis, Vice President Member Services; Wendy Cleveland, Vice President Marketing/Business Development; Lisa Harlow, Vice President Human Resources/Administration; and Jason Silberberg, Vice President Member Accounts & Technology Support.
